SoapBox is deligted to be taking part in The Spread Eagle's 7th Birthday party, hosting 3 hours of spoken word open mic, all words welcome. Join the wordy nerdy fun.

Each event is the same. Turn up, sign up, read/perform on the mic. 5-10mins per person. We are a friendly bunch of word geeks who love to share great words with each other. SoapBox prides itself on being an inclusive, welcoming, friendly event. so do come and say hi! We look forward to meeting you. All kinds of live literature encouraged, including storytelling, prose, rap, comedy, poetry - covers and originals much welcomed. Bring some of your favourite words, share them on the mic with us, and meet some fantastic local writers and poets.
