Feral Mouth are an alternate country string band from Norwich Norfolk. They formed officially in early 2010 following other related projects. The band take a large bit of their influence from old time country and bluegrass music as well as more contemporary styles too.

Their sound is a mixture of traditional ballads and instrumentals with other structures and forms sometimes thrown in for good measure. The part of the cello where more commonly you might find a violin gives the band a darker heavier sound than traditionally you might hear from an all acoustic band. Lyrical themes range through heartache, spirituality and philosophy.
