Poetry from Amy Wragg

I'm delighted to be joining an epic line-up of poetry, music & wonky weirdness with those fabulous folks from Klinker Club, this coming weekend.

Klinker Club started as an alternative night of performance in 1982, originating from London, their events are always magnificently diverse & beautifully strange. Having run boundary pushing events across the UK for over 40 years, they have still retained their passion for cutting edge live performance that challenges & engages audiences. Expect the unexpected. Each event is completely unique, and they always bring a brilliantly large group of poets, musicians, filmmakers, artists & performers from across the region, to their various stages. All you need to bring is an open heart, mind & good cheer.

This event on Saturday 17th February, 5-8pm, celebrates their installation at Gallery 142. From 15th to 21st February 2024, Klinker will be at the 142 Gallery in Felixstowe displaying a cornucopia of the anarchistic and diverse art from London's Klinker Club and celebrating its 40 year history of championing truly original artistic performance in its many forms. Come and join the celebration and immerse yourself in the story of Klinker through art, posters, albums, memorabilia, props and people

Cuppa, the venue where this live performance event will take place, is notorious in Suffolk for their unflinching community ethos, delightful food & drink, and absolutely tip-top service. I'd heard about their good work, a long time before being invited to take part in this gig, and I am super excited to see their good vibes for myself.
