Artworks & installations made from recycled textiles

Amy Wragg (founder of SoapBox) has been creating textile artworks, installations & jellyfish – using recycled materials – at festivals & events across East Anglia since 2012. She welcomes commissions & creates site-specific installations, customised artwork to suit every event & venue. Please get in touch to discuss what is possible and to obtain a quote.

Most recently her work has been exhibited at The Longshed for the Woodbridge Riverside Trust, during their seasonal activities in December 2023. In September, she was commissioned by the Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival to transform a local community hall into a relaxing space to enjoy electronic music.

In Spring 2023, Amy was commissioned by Suffolk Archives at The Hold (in Ipswich), to fill their enormous building – which is so big we needed a scaffolding tower to install – with jellyfish & bunting, for what is now an award-winning environmental exhibition ‘Suffolk’s Green Story’.

Bright, colourful & otherworldly, Amy’s unique recycled installations are extremely tactile. Each jellyfish has a unique character, with gentle stroking of their soft finger-knitted tentacles much encouraged.

Other commissions include: SoapBox Festival Stage (2012-19) at Glemham hall, Port Eliot Festival for the World Land Trust, Private Members Cabaret Club (London), East Anglian Storytelling Festival, John Peel Centre, Harlequin Fayre, Jimmy's Festival, and many more.

Enquiries, commissions & invitations much welcomed.
